In an official statement, Himesh shared insights on how creating Maatrubhumi for Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan became a profoundly emotional experience for him. He mentioned that the song organically discovered its essence through the rhythm and raw power of military beats, which contributed to its impactful nature. Reflecting on his collaboration with Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, Himesh described the partnership as special and dear to him. Regarding his reunion with Salman, Himesh remarked, "Certainly, reuniting with Salman Khan, especially with the music being released under the Salman Khan Films Music label, makes it exceptionally memorable."
Further Details on the Film Battle Of Galwan
Inspired by real events, the film will focus on the 2020 confrontation between the two forces in the Galwan Valley. Produced by Salma Khan under the Salman Khan Films banner, the film was originally set to compete with Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's Alpha on April 17. However, it has been reported that the producers of Alpha will soon announce a new release date.
