Hema Malini Reflects on Dharmendra's Passing
In an interview with The Indian Express, the seasoned actress revealed that Dharmendra's’s passing was 'overwhelming' for her and that she thinks of him 'constantly.' She expressed, "I was profoundly saddened; that feeling still lingers. However, I am attempting to move forward, as it is too much for me to bear. I am strong, or so everyone tells me… I am strong, but at times you… I must continue, I must."
Additionally, she mentioned, "He was at home during his final days. After returning from the hospital, he was back home. Until that moment, I believed he was fine. I thought he would be with us for at least another year or two."
"We shared 57 years together. I can’t fathom a life without him; I think of him every moment. It’s not that we were inseparable. He would often ask, ‘Where are you? When are you coming back? Are you returning? Then I will also come back from Lonavala.’ He would come and spend time with me and the family. I feel a void without him. When will I see him again?" the Dream Girl star concluded.
