Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela's romantic film has been in development for some time! Helmed by Anurag Basu, this musical romance is expected to debut in May
2026. Although there were speculations about the project being called Aashiqui 3, it seems the film has now received an official title. As per a media report, Kartik and Sreeleela's forthcoming romantic film has been titled Tu Meri Zindagi Hai.
Kartik Aaryan, Sreeleela's film receives a title?
The film featuring Kartik and Sreeleela was initially conceived as the third chapter in the Aashiqui series. However, following the split between Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar, the latter opted to develop it as an independent project. A source informed Mid-Day that this decision was a proactive measure to prevent any direct association with Aashiqui in the title of Kartik and Sreeleela's film.
"The production team aimed for a title that would evoke a sense of nostalgia without inviting legal or creative issues. Tu Meri Zindagi Hai seemed to be the ideal choice," the source stated.

The insider added, "It’s a timeless love story with Basu’s unique approach to the genre. With the release still over six months away, the team has ample time to incorporate additional songs. The latest filming schedule is taking place in Mumbai and is expected to continue until the end of 2025, with some finishing touches extending into early 2026."
The report indicates that the producers are aiming for a grand release of Kartik and Sreeleela's film on May 1, 2026. However, this has yet to be officially confirmed.
Kartik Aaryan's upcoming projects
On the work front, Kartik will soon appear in Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri alongside Ananya Panday. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, this film is set for a theatrical release on December 31. Additionally, the Bollywood star has Naagzilla scheduled for release. Stay tuned for further updates!
