the Rs 100 crore milestone within just three days. Now, various Bollywood stars are weighing in on the film, expressing their opinions on the performances, plot, and direction. Recently, Farah Khan posted on social media, stating that Akshaye Khanna is worthy of an Oscar for his performance in the movie.
Farah Khan commends Akshaye Khanna's role in Dhurandhar
In an Instagram story, Farah Khan shared a reel showcasing a scene of Akshaye Khanna from Dhurandhar alongside a clip from Tees Maar Khan. The reel caption read, "Everyone after witnessing Akshaye Khanna as Rehman Dakait in Dhurandhar.”
In her post, Farah Khan commented, "Akshaye Khanna genuinely deserves an Oscar," referencing a scene where Akshay Kumar says, "Woh raha mera superstar, mera Oscar."

Dhurandhar narrates the tale of Hamza Ali Mazari, a young enigmatic individual who infiltrates Rehman Dakait’s gang with a hidden agenda. He weds the daughter of a powerful Pakistani politician for a specific purpose. It is disclosed that Hamza is an Indian spy in Pakistan who delves into the underworld to divulge information about their operations.
Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and others, premiered in theaters on December 5. The sequel to Dhurandhar is set to hit theaters on March 19, 2026. The film is helmed by Aditya Dhar.
