Kareena Kapoor expresses concern over Punjab Floods
On her official Instagram account, Kareena Kapoor stated, "My thoughts are with all those affected by the floods in the northern regions. I hope relief and strength come to you soon."

This morning, September 2, Vicky Kaushal posted a message saying, "Scrolling through and witnessing all that is unfolding in Punjab and other northern areas... villages submerged, people in distress. I am praying for everyone affected. Rabb meher bakshe. Kuch Rabb de bande jede pindaach jaa jaa ke madad karde paye aa... onhanu salaam (Salute to those divine individuals who are going from village to village offering assistance). I am figuring out how to contribute. The impacted regions will require long-term support. We stand united in this."
Punjab floods situation
Punjab is facing significant flooding as the Sutlej, Beas, and Ravi rivers overflow due to intense rainfall in their catchment areas in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. The areas most severely affected include Gurdaspur, Fazilka, Kapurthala, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Hoshiarpur, and Amritsar, with the inundation impacting over 1,000 villages and more than 61,000 hectares of agricultural land.
According to the latest updates, the Char Dham Yatra and Hemkund Sahib have been suspended until September 5.
