Kajol took to her X handle and shared a BTS video with her mother, Tanuja. She stated, “As 2025 wraps up, I must say this was the highlight of my year. Being on set with my mom and realizing that the chaos is doubled, nothing feels excessive.”

Previously, at a pre-release event for the Marathi film Uttar, Kajol and Tanuja were honored as special guests. During the event, the DDLJ actress discussed the dynamics of the parent-child relationship. She remarked, “Thank goodness my daughter isn’t here to respond to this question. She would definitely argue with me about it. It’s absolutely true. Arguments between parents and children are essential. When we disagree, we recognize that we’ve raised a child who can think independently and has their own perspective. So, we’ve taught our children to think for themselves. When they challenge me, I see it as a compliment.”
When Tanuja mentioned that Kajol often argued with her as a child, the Maa actress humorously replied, “Mamma, I never argued with you (laughs).” To this, Tanuja responded, “You did it all the time.”
