indicate that the movie's scheduled filming in August at Mehboob Studios in Bandra has been canceled due to continuity issues, with the shoot now slated to begin directly in Ladakh later this month.
Salman Khan's Battle Of Galwan's Mumbai filming canceled
In July, it was reported that an intricate set was being built at the renowned studio for the initial phase of Apoorva Lakhia’s directorial project. However, plans shifted at the last moment. The crew will now start filming in Ladakh from August 22 to September 3.
Mid-Day cited a source stating, "This is a creative choice. The filmmakers prefer to begin with the action sequences. Additionally, Salman has a unique appearance, and for continuity reasons, a 30-day gap between the Mumbai and Ladakh shoots was not feasible. Apoorva believed that the scenes should be filmed consecutively. Therefore, the Mumbai schedule for the film is currently postponed indefinitely. They will decide later if any song sequences or additional shots are required in the city." The source also mentioned that the dismantling of the Bandra set has already commenced.

More about Battle Of Galwan
Battle of Galwan will depict the real-life military confrontation between India and China in the Galwan Valley that occurred in June 2020. Salman Khan will take on the role of Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu, the commanding officer who led his troops during the clash and was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra posthumously in 2021 for his valor.
With its intense war scenes set against the rugged landscape of Ladakh, the film is poised to be a significant homage to the bravery of India’s armed forces, particularly as Salman Khan hints at his physical transformation for the character.
