What is the story about?
Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty’s Border 2 commitment to honor the military. Paying tribute to Indian soldiers, Air Force personnel,
and Navy officials, the project draws inspiration from various true stories. Following the debut of the initial song, titled Ghar Kab Aaoge, the team has reimagined the beloved track from Border, Jaate Hue Lamhon. This will be released on January 12. Originally performed by Roopkumar Rathod, the romantic piece will be presented in the company of military members and their families. Border 2 is set to hit theaters on January 23. Directed by Anurag Singh, known for Kesari, this film is based on the India-Pakistan conflict.
Jaate Hue Lamhon song launch
Jaate Hue Lamhon is expected to be a profoundly moving and heartfelt piece. It will be launched in front of an audience of approximately 10,000 to 12,000 military personnel and their families in Khasa, Amritsar. The song will be introduced by Sunny, Varun, and Ahan, along with the creators of Border 2. The original version featured Suniel Shetty and Sharbani Mukerji, who is related to Kajol, Rani Mukerji, and Ayan Mukerji.
Prior to Jaate Hue Lamhon, the team behind Border 2 released Ghar Kab Aaoge with BSF personnel and their families at Longewala-Tanot in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, on January 2. Producer Nidhi Dutta shared a message stating, “Ghar kab aaoge/ Sandese Aate Hain is out today. A song that was crafted 29 years ago by the brilliance of my father JP Dutta, Javed Saab, Anu Mallik, Sonu Nigam & Roop Kumar Rathod. Today we have reimagined it... not to alter something that is already perfect but to simply weave in more narratives of Our Soldiers & Their Families yearning for them to return home. The same feelings, lyrics that resonate with the heartache of new characters but the same timeless melody. I hope the audience connects with this version as they have with the original over the years. A dynamic team supports this project... But also just a daughter striving to honor her father's legacy and make him proud. Please give this song all your affection. This one is for you Papa & for Our Armed Forces.”
