The highly anticipated wedding of pop icon Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce is set to take place at Madison Square Garden, with the event just a day
away. As the countdown clock approaches zero, details about the couple's special day are beginning to emerge. The wedding is scheduled for Friday, July 3, and will feature a series of events that promise to create a magical atmosphere for the couple and their guests. According to reports from Page Six, the wedding festivities will span over ten hours, starting with guest arrivals at 3:30 PM. A cocktail hour will follow at 4 PM on the sixth-floor concourse, leading up to the ceremony at 5:30 PM on the arena floor. The venue is being transformed into a fairy-tale garden, complete with a castle backdrop. The reception is set to begin at 6:30 PM and will continue until 2 AM, with over 1,000 guests expected to attend. Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner will take place on Thursday night at MSG's Infosys Theatre, accommodating around 100 guests from 6 PM to 10:30 PM ET. To ensure privacy, attendees will enter through a designated entrance, and security measures have been heightened, including street closures around the venue to deter paparazzi from capturing the event. Preparations for the wedding are already in full swing at Madison Square Garden. Workers have been spotted decorating the arena, and boxes labelled "Garden Party" have been delivered. A red carpet was briefly laid out at the entrance before being removed, and the couple has filed for permits to secure street closures from July 2 to July 4. Notable performances by Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are also expected, with Swift rumoured to have multiple outfit changes throughout the evening. In a generous gesture ahead of their wedding, Swift and Kelce have reportedly donated $26 million to 20 charities across the United States. The contributions support organisations in cities significant to the couple, including Los Angeles, Nashville, and New York, as well as national charities like Feeding America and the ASPCA. This philanthropic effort highlights their commitment to giving back to the communities that have shaped their lives.
