During the event, Nolan expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Indian audience, stating, "I am coming to Mumbai again! This is not the first time I am here in Mumbai. But it is the first time that we get the chance to launch a film here. So you are among the first audiences in the world to see this film!" He reminisced about his previous experiences filming in India and emphasized the unique energy of Indian cinema-goers, calling them some of the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable audiences globally. Matt Damon also took a moment to acknowledge the support from fans, saying, "This is really just wonderful. We had a premiere already, but that's like our family and friends. This is the first real audience we've been in front of that's seen the film. It means the world to us that you liked it." He highlighted the hard work that went into the film, which was shot entirely in IMAX, and expressed his happiness at being in India. The excitement peaked when Tom Holland took the stage, receiving the loudest cheers of the night. He greeted the crowd with a respectful 'namaste' and shared his appreciation for the warm welcome, stating, "From the bottom of my heart, thank you for always welcoming us with such open arms, happiness, excitement, grace, and love." 'The Odyssey,' a mythic action epic based on Homer's ancient Greek poem, features an ensemble cast including Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Robert Pattinson, and Lupita Nyong'o. The film is set to be released on July 17, 2026.
