Sadhguru supports Ranbir Kapoor
In a discussion with Namit Malhotra, Sadhguru addressed the trolling and backlash Ranbir has faced for portraying Lord Ram in the series. When the producer of Ramayana remarked, “People are digging up past statements and questioning how Ranbir Kapoor can embody Shri Rama in Ramayana," Sadhguru responded, "It's an unjust assessment of an actor based on past actions. You can't expect him to embody Ram. In another film, he might portray Ravana." He also complimented Yash as a ‘handsome individual’.

In a recent chat with Ranveer Allahbadia, Ravi Dubey, who is making his Bollywood debut as Lakshman in Ramayana, defended his co-star Ranbir, stating, “That role transformed me. I had to change significantly to honor it because the audience can easily sense insincerity. I completely revamped my routine. In fact, all of us did, including Ranbir Kapoor. He has given up so much for this project. This feels more like a yagya. We all did everything we could to remain authentic to these characters in our behavior, reactions, and even speech.”
