Sushant Singh Rajput's beginnings in Patna
Sushant Singh Rajput was born on January 21, 1986, in Maldiha, located in the Patna district of Bihar. He was the sole son among four sisters. During his childhood, he was known by his birth name, Gulshan, which he used in school. Being the youngest sibling, he received abundant love and attention. Sadly, his mother passed away in 2002, prompting the family to move to Delhi. There, while pursuing his studies, Sushant further cultivated his fascination with science and space.
SSR's academic achievements and transition to acting
Sushant consistently excelled academically. He achieved the seventh position in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) and began his studies in mechanical engineering. However, over time, his passion shifted towards acting. He became a member of Shiamak Davar’s dance troupe and engaged in theatre workshops. After relocating to Mumbai, he worked as a background dancer and theatre performer, taking on minor roles that refined his skills.
