someone brought up memories of her deceased mother. Her co-star Akshay Oberoi recently shared this experience. He disclosed that someone had reminded Janhvi of her late mother earlier that day. “She had been feeling down for three hours before arriving on set. She was preoccupied with thoughts about how she would measure up to her mother. That individual had said to her, ‘I’ve collaborated with your mother ‘x’ number of times, and now I’ll be working with you. So, let’s see what you, Sridevi’s daughter, bring to the table today!’ Janhvi confided in me that it’s tough on both sides. And that struck me profoundly," Akshay told News18.
