Sonu Sood 'heartbroken' by Uttarakhand floods
On X (formerly Twitter), Sonu Sood stated, "I am heartbroken by the catastrophic floods and cloudburst in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. My thoughts are with all those affected."
He further remarked, "It’s crucial for the nation to unite — while the government fulfills its responsibilities, we as individuals must support every person who has lost a home, livelihood, or life."

Uttarakhand CM voices concern over Uttarakhand cloudburst
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his sorrow over the incident and confirmed that relief and rescue efforts are being conducted with urgency. “The reports of significant damage caused by a cloudburst in the Dharali (Uttarkashi) area are profoundly upsetting. SDRF, NDRF, district administration, and other relevant teams are actively engaged in relief and rescue operations. I am in regular communication with senior officials, and we are closely monitoring the situation. I pray for everyone’s safety," he stated.
PM Modi offers condolences
Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his sympathies to those impacted by the flash flood in Dharali and mentioned that he had discussed the situation with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.
