Bollywood's legendary director pair Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt have gone their separate ways for reasons that remain unclear. While the siblings had been
maintaining a respectful silence following the split, Mukesh has now opened up about his relationship with his older brother Mahesh. He stated that "there were individuals with ulterior motives" behind their division. In a conversation with Lehren Retro, the seasoned filmmaker remarked, "I harbor no resentment towards him. I can’t speak for his feelings about me, but I hold no negativity. He (Mahesh) is quite naive, and there were people with vested interests in how these brothers could be torn apart." He also addressed Vikram Bhatt's claims of exploitation, saying, "I won’t be influenced by what others say. Mahesh Bhatt is my deity, he is my elder sibling. I care for him profoundly and always will. This isn’t just a phrase; it comes from my heart. I wish him dignity, affection, and prayers for joy because he is a truly wonderful person." "Regardless of how admirable a person may be, everyone has flaws. His flaw is that he is easily swayed, and he fell victim to that," Mukesh added. For those who may not know, Vishesh Films was taken over by the younger brother a few years back due to disagreements with Mahesh. It was officially declared that Mukesh would lead the company, recognized for producing successful films like Raaz, Murder, Gangster, and others. Vikram, Mahesh's mentee, later asserted that his mentor had been taken advantage of by his brother. He reportedly told him, "Saalo tak mere bhai (Mukesh Bhatt) ne mujhe exploit kia hai. Main nahi chahta ki woh tujhe exploit kare. (My brother has exploited me for years. I don’t want him to exploit you). You should go and pursue your own path." On the professional front, Mukesh is producing Kartik Aaryan's forthcoming film , Tu Aashiqui Hai.
