In a conversation with THR India, actress Shruti Haasan firmly stated, "When I opened up, I received remarks like, ‘oh, yeh to plastic surgery ki dukaan hai’ (oh, she is all about plastic surgery). However, I am aware of what I have done and how much others have undergone. That’s the cost of being truthful. It’s perfectly fine. And I don’t endorse it. This is my personal decision.”

Shruti herself bursts into laughter and remarks, "I’m in the movie. Please let me through, anna. I’m the leading lady, sir."
