In a conversation with THR India, actress Shruti Haasan firmly stated, "When I opened up, I received remarks like, ‘oh, yeh to plastic surgery ki dukaan hai’ (oh, she is all about plastic surgery). However, I am aware of what I have done and how much others have undergone. That’s the cost of being truthful. It’s perfectly fine. And I don’t endorse it. This is my personal decision.”

Last week, the actress was halted by security upon her arrival at Vettri Theatres in Chennai to catch the first screening of Coolie. A brief clip of the incident has gone viral, showcasing the actress and her friends chuckling as a security guard inspects their vehicle.
Shruti herself bursts into laughter and remarks, "I’m in the movie. Please let me through, anna. I’m the leading lady, sir."

Coolie, helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, surpassed its rivals, earning approximately Rs 9.50 crore on August 18. This surge elevated Coolie’s total to Rs 216 crore, marking it as a monumental success in just six days.
