that the creators are poised to advance the franchise with a sequel. A media outlet has indicated that Kareena has expressed interest in Crew 2, while further specifics remain confidential. Now, producer Rhea Kapoor has released an official statement regarding the recent speculations around Crew 2.

In an official announcement, Rhea and her production company Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network stated that any updates regarding Crew 2 or their other projects will be disclosed in due time.
"We are thankful for the affection, interest, and critical praise that Crew continues to garner globally. On behalf of AKFCN, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon for the accolades and nominations their performances are receiving," the statement noted.

The latter part of the statement mentioned, "Regarding what lies ahead, any information about the next phase of AKFCN, including the future direction of Crew and the untold stories, will be communicated by AKFCN in due time, when the moment - and the narratives - are ready."
About Crew
Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, the film depicted the tale of three flight attendants who become entangled in a gold smuggling scheme. Penned by Nidhi Mehra and Mehul Suri, Crew's cast also featured Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma. While it premiered in theaters on March 29, 2024, the film is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network, the film's global earnings stand at Rs 151.35 crore (gross). Conversely, the film generated Rs 81.7 crore (net) in India.
