As per preliminary estimates, Cocktail 2, referred to as a 'vibe sequel', earned Rs 16.25 crore. In just two days since its release, the rom-com also experienced an increase in its global box office earnings.

According to initial estimates from Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 accumulated Rs 29.75 crore following its release at the domestic box office. On the second day, the film reportedly earned Rs 8 crore internationally, bringing the total collection over two days to Rs 15.25 crore. With an India gross of Rs 35.70 crore and a global total of Rs 15.25 crore, the worldwide earnings reach Rs 50.95 crore.
Crafted by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, Cocktail 2 received mixed reviews from critics and viewers alike. Nevertheless, this has not hindered the film's box office success. Homi Adajania returned to direct the spiritual sequel to the original Cocktail, which starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, and Diana Penty.
In a prior exclusive interview with Zoom, Kriti addressed speculation regarding the sequel being a direct continuation of the earlier films. "I anticipate comparisons will arise, but the positive aspect is that this is not a sequel; it's a franchise. Thus, it's more of a vibe franchise, and the characters are distinct," she stated. The actress also shared that she enjoyed filming this rom-com in Sicily, where all three actors were in a lively spirit and aimed to have a wonderful experience.
