Alia Bhatt is currently one of the leading actresses in Bollywood. She has an exciting slate of films on the horizon, and her fans are eager to see her return
to cinemas. Her previous film, Jigra, featuring Vedang Raina, was well-received both in theaters and on OTT platforms, and audiences are looking forward to her upcoming project alongside her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, titled Love & War. As the world marks Diwali today, Alia is experiencing a mix of emotions since this will be her final celebration at Vaastu.
Alia Bhatt To Celebrate 'Last Diwali At Vaastu'
In a recent conversation with The Times Of India, Alia shared that the couple will soon be relocating to their new residence with their daughter Raha, making this their last Diwali at Vaastu. She expressed, "This is our last Diwali in the home where she (Raha) was born. So, it’s truly an emotional moment. However, it’s also very thrilling because I realize she may not recall this particular Diwali, but the memories created will accumulate and leave an impression on her. Diwali is all about emotions; it should evoke warmth and brightness."
Additionally, Bhatt mentioned, "This has been a long time coming, and honestly, the emotions are quite overwhelming. I feel incredibly fortunate to experience this chapter in my life. We’re amidst the chaos of moving, yet my heart is filled with joy. It’s a significant dream materializing. The magnitude of this feeling is such that I believe it will truly resonate with us months or perhaps a year after we settle in."
Work Front
On the work front, Alia is set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War, which boasts a star-studded cast including Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
Love and War marks the first collaboration between Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali since the actor's debut in 2007 with Saawariya. While Vicky Kaushal has yet to work with the director, Alia Bhatt previously collaborated with Bhansali in the 2022 film Gangubai Kathiawadi.
In the upcoming months, the actress will also lead YRF's spy thriller ALPHA.
