In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Amaal Mallik stated that he regards Mere Dholna 3.0 as the most challenging song he has reimagined. He shared that they had reserved the studio from 7 PM until midnight, and Sonu Nigam arrived straight from the airport after his trip to the U.S. by 10 PM, completing the task in just 45 minutes with everyone's enthusiastic response of 'Wow what a song!'. "So when I select my vocalist, there are instances where the composer gets swapped out!," he concluded.
Amaal also discussed his emotional struggles and the weight of upholding a legacy that spans over 75 years. He reflected on his early experiences and disclosed the obstacles he encountered for more than a decade, despite his family's musical heritage.
