Vijay's Jana Nayagan Got K-Pop Connection? BTS, ENHYPEN Fans Clash Over Viral Scene - 'Seeing Them In Same Frame...'

Thalapathy Vijay's Jana Nayagan has become more than a film. It is an emotional send-off for the actor-turned-politician, marking his last big-screen appearance before diving into his duties as the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister full throttle and turning the new chapter in his political career. While the movie received a thumping response from fans who turned its release day on July 23 into nothing less than a festival across the state and around it, there's more to what the movie offered. Infact there was a little something for the K-pop fans too. In an unexpected moment, the movie subtly brings in the globally popular South Korean boy bands, BTS and ENHYPEN, and eagle-eyed fans cannot stop talking about it now.

What's the scene about?

A clip has gone viral on the fan pages that captures a few seconds of the film's footage from the big screen. It belongs to a scene where Vijay's character Vetri is speaking with Viji (played by Mamitha Baiju) in her room, after some unexpected turn of events around her marriage proposal. Later, Pooja Hedge's Kayal consoles Vetri.

K-pop in Jana Nayagan!

Amid all the emotional moments, fans were quick to spot some posters in the background, which they claim features BTS. While the band seems certain, many even put their bets that it was ENHYPEN, another K-pop group. Though nothing about Viji's character that makes her an obvious K-pop fan was shown in Jana Nayagan, the presence of the aforementioned posters does seem like a smart choice by the film's art direction to keep the audience guessing and BTS ARMY celebrating the band's occurrence in the movie. That's not all. Some even said a Blackpink poster can also be seen in one corner.

Why are BTS and ENHYPEN fans clashing for Jana Nayagan?

Several users flooded the comments section on a viral Instagram post of the particular clip. The caption of the original post reads, "she's a kpop stan no wonder she had aura." One netizens reacted, "ommgggg i thought i was the only one that noticed." Another one said, "There is both Enhypen and BTS bruhhh look at the one behind Vijay!! That's Enhypen and the one on the above is Enhypen." More BTS fans commented, "Poster of all seven members vijay is also ot7 fan." One fan pointed, "There's a Jungkook poster too." I think Viji was Jk Bias."

Fans of ENHYPEN however, claimed that it wasn't BTS but their favourite group. "That’s enhypen not bts." One fan explained, "Bts ,enhypen and also a gg but I'm not sure which group" A user argued, "Are you guys blind?! There's literally BTS behind him not only Enhypen."
