Upp 2’s first elimination happened on Saturday night (July 4). Team India’s T20 captain Shreyas Iyer’s sister, Shresta Iyer, bid adieu to the Netflix show. The social media influencer got emotional while exiting the Lock Upp jail but celebrated her return at home with her family members. She has penned a sweet caption, in which she mentioned that she is very happy to be back home where she truly belongs. Shresta posted a video of the celebration of Lock Upp 2 elimination on Instagram, in which she is seen meeting her loved ones after a long time.

Shresta Iyer captioned the post as, “Very happy to be back home. right where I truly belong.” (sic) In the video, one can see the family watching the moment of Shresta’s elimination from
Lock Upp – Sach Ya Sazaa on TV. Once the announcement happens, she arrives at home and starts dancing. She celebrated the moment with her family and pet dog. The only person who was missing from this celebration was Shresta’s brother, Shreyas Iyer.
The viral video has now started grabbing everyone’s attention on social media. Shresta’s fans have been showering love on her in the comments section. Aashitosh Gaikwad, who often collaborates with Shresta Iyer on social media, wrote, “Welcome back, and we are proud of you.”
Choreographer Virag Dubal stated that people saw Shresta for a bit, but they still don’t know how much of a real, pure gem of a person she is. According to him, Shreyas Iyer’s sister has a heart of gold. He concluded his note by stating, “Just keep being the amazing person that you are.”

Shreyas is currently in England for the T20 series against England. In the second T20 International against the English team, Team India lost the game despite giving a big target of 191 to chase. The first match was washed out due to rain. Now, India only has one match to level the series.

Coming back to Shresta Iyer, the content creator had entered the show with a motive that she wanted to create her own identity. She confessed her intentions during the grand premiere of Lock Upp – Sach Ya Sazaa. She didn’t live in the jail for a long time, but Shresta has surely made her presence felt. She had a massive argument with Yogesh Rawat on the show. During her elimination, Jailer Farah Khan told Shresta, “Although your journey on the show has come to an end, we hope that your journey of coming out of your brother's shadow has just commenced.” In fact, Riteish Deshmukh also wished Shresta ‘all the best’ for her future work.
