Ramayana Trailer India Release Date And Time - Here's What We Know

intrigue around Ramayana’s upcoming trailer has kept fans on their toes. Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, who play Rama and Ravana in the Nitesh Tiwari directorial, will be reaching San Diego soon for the much-awaited presentation at Comic-Con 2026. The trailer will be showcased there before it goes live for the world. Ranbir, Yash, Nitesh and producer Namit Malhotra will be discussing Ramayana, its vision, the characters and more during an elaborate session. As revealed by the makers, Ramayana’s trailer will be launched on July 24.

Now, as per the fresh buzz, Ramayana’s trailer will be showcased at the San Diego Comic-Con 2026 between 3:15 AM and 4:15 AM IST on July 24. However, as per a screenshot from PVRCinema’s official page, it will premiere at 10 AM. When Zoom reached out to the film’s team to verify, it was confirmed that the time of release is 8 AM.

In an exclusive interview with Zoom earlier this month, Namit spoke about taking Ramayana to the global platform and promised that the visual effects quality would not be compromised. “It’s something we take tremendous pride in. Whether it’s The Odyssey or some of the greatest films that Christopher Nolan has made or other filmmakers have done, such as the Dune series—we’re all part of these epics. So, our goal is to make sure that what we do best for the world, we will also do for our own epic. That's the least we should expect,” Malhotra said.Talking about the trailer and addressing misconceptions around the film, Namit shared, “Our trailer will drop worldwide on July 24. The only thing I would say is that we are making Ramayana as the greatest epic of the world. It’s our story. It belongs to every Indian in India and to everyone all over the world. Our hope is to make the best version of the Ramayana we can make and show it to the rest of the world. That’s truly a celebration of Indian culture.”
