Samay Raina Asks ‘How Difficult Is It To Have A Dialogue And Solve Things?’ As He Supports Students' Protest

Raina, who has relaunched his famous India’s Got Latent with season 2 on Netflix, has come out in support of students’ protest in India. For the unversed, the youth has come out on the streets of Delhi, Mumbai and other cities to protest over the NEET question paper leaks. Activist Sonam Wangchuk has been on a hunger strike to get justice for students. The protest-led by the Cockroach Janata Party is now gaining momentum as many youngsters joined it to bring reform to the education system of India. Samay has joined the conversation and extended his support to the demonstrators.

Samay Raina On Students’ Protest

Samay Raina took to his Instagram story and shared a note in which he asked questions regarding a delay in justice for students. He feels that the students’ demands are fair, as they want a better education system. Samay’s note reads, “The students just want a better education system and accountability, man. How difficult is it to have a dialogue and solve things instead of waiting for them to escalate so much?” (sic) The stand-up comedian understands the pain of students as he feels exams are the only way out for them to make a good life for themselves and their families. Samay concluded his note by stating, “I hope all the students’ voices are heard and something concrete comes out of this man.” (sic)

Earlier this morning, Alia Bhatt also came out in support of the students' protest. In a note, she expressed her solidarity with students. She stated that the past few days had been an emotional journey for her. She gave special mention to the protestors who helped her heal by showing their hope and courage in the movement to get a better education system in the country. Apart from Alia and Samay, Vaani Kapoor, R Madhavan, Hina Khan and other celebrities recently joined the conversation.
