Varma extended his support to ongoing students’ protest at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, over the NEET paper leak controversy on social media. After that, several users allegedly unfollowed Vijay on social media after he condemned the alleged lathi charge on students by Delhi Police. The actor also voiced his support for education reformer and activist Sonam Wanghchuk, who has been on a hunger strike demanding accountability over the alleged exam paper leaks. After witnessing a drop in his followers on Instagram, the actor took to his Instagram story and took a dig at those who unfollowed him on Instagram. He penned a message for them on Sunday with a GIF.

Vijay Varma Reacts To Users Unfollowing Him On Instagram

Coming back to Vijay Varma’s message to the unfollowed users, the actor wrote in Hindi, “Chup chap bhi unfollow kar sakte ho. Sab batana nahi hota.” (sic) He also added a laughing emoji to it. Vijay told the users that they could have unfollowed him quietly, as it is not necessary to say everything on social media.

Vijay’s message was nothing but a dig at the users who don’t agree with his views on the students’ protest. The Gully Boy actor feels that one should take accountability over the ongoing issue in the education system. Earlier on Sunday evening, Vijay Varma also shared a video of an alleged lathi charge on the protesters at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar.

Diljit Dosanjh, who had strongly reacted to the ban on his film, Satluj, shared his views on ongoing students’ protests in India. He expressed his concern over the treatment of students during the protest. He requested the authorities to listen to the students’ demands and understand their point. Diljit also confessed that he will be called ‘anti-national’ once again after his statement regarding the CJP protest. The actor has supported Abhijeet Dipke and Sonam Wangchuk’s fight to get justice for the students in India.
