According to reports, Chennai Love Story was made on a budget of around Rs 15 crore, while its theatrical business is valued at approximately Rs 23 crore. The makers have also recovered a significant portion of the investment through non-theatrical deals, earning nearly Rs 4 crore from OTT rights and Rs 5 crore from audio rights.Trade reports suggest the film will need to collect around Rs 45 crore worldwide to achieve theatrical break-even.
