During a special screening at Sandhya Theatre, where a large crowd had gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor, a stampede-like situation led to the death of Revathi and left her son Sri Teja injured. Months later, Allu Arjun has been summoned by the Nampally Court in Hyderabad in connection with the case and has been directed to appear in person on June 22 for a hearing. What Happened to Sri Teja: The young fan attended a movie screening at Sandhya Theatre (RTC Cross Roads) with his parents, Revathi and Bhaskar, and his younger sister. After Allu Arjun's arrival at the theatre led to a sudden surge in the crowd, it created a stampede-like situation. In the chaos, the family near the entrance was knocked down and trampled. Bhaskar and his daughter escaped with minor injuries, but Revathi died on the spot, and Sri Teja suffered severe head injuries.

What Is The Current Health Status Of Sri Teja? Young Boy Who Got Injured In Allu Arjun Sandhya Stampede Incident

Sri Teja remained in critical care for about six months before being declared out of immediate danger. Sri Teja is now semi-conscious and bedridden, with around 70 percent brain damage, leaving him unable to identify people or communicate his needs. He relies on a feeding tube (gastrostomy) and a breathing tube (tracheostomy), and requires constant care and rehabilitation.

His home functions like a medical care unit, and his father Bhaskar quit his job to care for him full-time, leading to severe financial strain due to ongoing treatment and rehabilitation costs. In December 2025, Sri Teja’s father, Bhaskar, met Telangana State Film and Theatre Development Corporation chairman Dil Raju and sought additional financial assistance from the state government.

Recently, Allu Aravind and Sneha Reddy visited Sri Teja’s residence and extended support to the family, which continues to cope with the aftermath of the tragedy linked to the premiere event of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule event in Hyderabad.

Allu Aravind even promised to fund for Sri Teja's sister's education. In addition to that Allu Arjun is personally covering the full cost of Sri Teja’s ongoing rehabilitation at a specialised centre.
