singer Sonu Nigam truly believes in the fact that the show must go on. Despite suffering from a nerve-related issue, the singer performed and completed his work commitment. Sonu recently told a publication that he got emotional to see the kind of love people poured in when they realised that he had been performing despite 'unbearable pain'. The Kal Ho Naa Ho singer further revealed what could've triggered his medical condition. While discussing it, Sonu shared that he had been in bad shape for the last 20 days. Read on to know more.
Sonu Nigam on his medical condition, shares health update

Sonu Nigam said, "I think a wrong workout move or sleeping in one position for too long may have triggered it. Even the slightest movement of my head would result in severe pain." The singer further revealed that doctors prescribed him painkillers, but he knew he couldn't rely only on that.
The singer recalled visiting Delhi for an awards function, when he realised he couldn't do anything. ChaalBaaz director Pankaj Parashar came to his rescue and connected him with a good doctor. That's when Sonu began physical therapy with the doctor. "He worked with me twice a day for two and a half hours and literally helped me stand up."And now, he is finally in a position to return to Mumbai and start working again.He also told the publication that years of practise helped him overcome a setback. The singer admitted he was frightened when he went on stage thinking that his voice would be affected. However, he eventually realised that it sounded fine.
Cancelling concert is not an option: Sonu Nigam
On a concluding note, Sonu mentioned that his work is such that he cannot send anyone else to perform on the stage if he is unwell. No one can represent him on stage, he said. "Hence, cancelling a concert is never an option for me. I’ve never done it.
