The touching anecdote was all about Shah Rukh Khan's generosity and Farah's support.

Shreyas Talpade's Home Loan That Almost Didn't Happen

During Farah Khan's visit to Shreyas Talpade's home, the actor and his wife found themselves surrounded by the filmmaker's signature gifts. Amid the light-hearted conversation, Shreyas revealed that the very house they were sitting in became possible because of Om Shanti Om.Recalling the incident, Shreyas shared that he had approached a bank for a home loan but was informed that he was not eligible. The actor explained that the bank official asked him about the film he was currently working on. When he mentioned Om Shanti Om, the officer became curious and asked who was starring in the film and who was directing it.

When Shreyas told her that Shah Rukh Khan was the lead actor and Farah Khan was directing the film, the banker reportedly asked whether he could obtain a letter from the production team. Shreyas revealed that he immediately contacted Farah Khan regarding the situation. Without any hesitation, the filmmaker stepped in to help him. Within two days, she arranged for a letter from Shah Rukh Khan, confirming Shreyas' involvement in the film. The actor shared that the same evening the bank approved his loan application.

Shah Rukh Khan's Generous Nature

The conversation also turned into a nostalgic trip down memory lane as Farah and Shreyas discussed their experiences while working together. Farah recalled several instances that showed Shah Rukh Khan's generosity toward his colleagues and crew members.According to the filmmaker, Shah Rukh ensured that everyone associated with his films felt valued. She remembered how the superstar took the cast and crew to London for the Om Shanti Om premiere.Farah also shared an incident from Happy New Year, where Shah Rukh reportedly paid for around 50 people, including technicians, assistants, the cinematographer, and the music team, to attend the film's Dubai premiere. She noted that the actor never differentiated between stars and crew members and wanted everyone to experience those memorable moments together.
