Ali Fazal told NDTV that he is unsure whether he will attend Aamir and Gauri's wedding. He said that he might be busy with promotional work for Mirzapur around that time, including shoots scheduled outside Mumbai. Wishing Aamir well, he added that the filmmaker-producer has been someone he has always admired, and expressed happiness for the new journey he is embarking on. "I wish him all the best. He is my producer. He's the person whom I always respected, looked up to. I am very happy for this wonderful journey that he's going into," said the Raakh actor.For those unversed, Ali will be seen in Aamir-backed Batwara 1947.

He also shared the date of the ceremony.He stated that both he and Gauri felt ready to take their relationship to the next level. Reflecting on their bond, he said that he was at peace and described their relationship as serious, committed, and one of partnership. He added that, in his heart, he already considered himself married to Gauri, and said that formalising their togetherness felt like a natural progression of their relationship.Aamir has been married twice before. His first marriage was to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. He later married Kiran Rao, and they have a son named Azad.
