Kapoor’s younger sister Anshula Kapoor tied the knot with Rohan Thakkar at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End. It was an intimate affair with family members and close friends in attendance. Anshula is Boney Kapoor and his former wife, the late Money Shourie Kapoor’s daughter. The couple got married after dating for almost four years. The pre-wedding festivities kicked off over the weekend with both families reuniting to celebrate their union. After the intimate wedding, Anshula shared pictures from the ceremony on Instagram. Anshula and Rohan are yet to make their first public appearance.

The bride’s late mother Mona’s photo frame is kept beside her. Dressed in a gorgeous coral embroidered lehenga, Kapoor made for a stunning bride. Anshula’s sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor were seen fulfilling their bridesmaids’ duties by assisting the couple during the rituals.

Who is Anshula Kapoor?

Anshula is the daughter of Boney and his former wife, the late Mona Shourie. She is Arjun Kapoor’s younger sister. Janhvi and Khushi are her half-sisters. Before becoming a content creator and body positivity advocate, Anshula focused on building her career outside the film industry. Kapoor participated in the first season of The Traitors with her aunt, Maheep Kapoor.

Who is Rohan Thakkar?

Rohan Thakkar is a screenwriter. He has a bachelor’s degree in advertising and marketing. In 2013, he went to Los Angeles to complete an MFA in Screenwriting at the New York Film Academy. Thakkar started his career as a social media marketer and went on to work as an executive assistant at Next Level Entertainment Global. He is also known to be writing films like The Novelist (2016), Never Too Late (2016) and Nimbus (2018). Currently, Rohan is working with Karan Johar's Dharmatic Productions.

Rohan had proposed to Anshula in July last year in New York City's Central Park. According to reports, they have been dating since 2022. They met each other on a dating app. Anshula and Rohan’s traditional and close-knit Gor Dhana ceremony took place at the Kapoor family’s ancestral bungalow in Mumbai on October 2, 2025.
