Akshay Kumar as a dedicated policeman named Vijay Singh under the guidance of Pandey (Amrish Puri). Raveena Tandon as Roma is Vijay’s girlfriend who lends him moral support throughout the film. After Pandey, with his strict mannerisms, he guides the group of recruits, and they face unexpected scenarios of the corrupt and harsh realities. Vijay then struggles to decide between the moral ethics, which must be sacrificed to survive in the system and to become a rebellious one to end the tyranny. By following the second path, he chooses to bring down a criminal-political syndicate.

Ahmed Khan, the director of
Welcome to the Jungle, in a recent interview with Mid-Day, revealed the real reason for bringing the duo back. He said, “People will want to see Raveena and Akshay together, so why not do a fan service?”
Raveena also had no reservations working with him as she felt 'they will have a blast on sets'. Ahmed mentioned how they (Akshay and Raveena) also reminisced about their past films together on
Welcome to the Jungle’s sets. The film is scheduled for its theatrical release on June 26, a long overdue of the much-anticipated sequel to Welcome franchise.
