Amidst all, a recent report suggests that Ulka Gupta, who was last seen in The Kerala Story 2, will have a dance-off with Shraddha in Eetha. It is going to be the iconic sequence in the film, which has been directed by Laxman Utekar. Ulka is playing a pivotal role in the Vithabai Narayangaonkar’s biopic.

Ulka Gupta is playing the role of Vithabai Narayangaonkar’s best friend, Gajra, in the film
Eetha. The report stated that the dance-off is going to be one of the movie’s attractions. The duo rehearsed for days to master the movements for the lavani dance number. The details about the special dance-off are kept under wraps. It has to be noted that the makers have taken inspiration from old classic films like Bajirao Mastani, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Devdas and many others, as they showed dance-off between two actresses.
Shraddha Kapoor is an outstanding dancer. On the other hand, Ulka Gupta fans are eagerly waiting to see how the former TV actress will perform in the special sequence with Kapoor.
Who Is Ulka Gupta?
Ulka Gupta is a renowned actress who started her career with the TV show Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar as a child artist. She shot to fame with the role of the younger version of Manikarnika in Jhansi Ki Rani. She acted in shows like Devon Ke Dev Mahadev, Banni Chow Home Delivery, Dhruv Tara and so on. She made her acting debut in films with the Telugu movie Andhra Pori. She debuted in Hindi cinema with the film Traffic (2016). She has also been a part of The Kerala Story 2, Simmba and Rajni Ki Baraat.

Eetha is scheduled to be released on August 28, 2026, in theatres. The film also stars Mohammeb Zeeshan Ayyub, Anant Joshi, Randeep Hooda and others in key roles. Eetha has landed into controversy after NCP leader Babasaheb Patil and Vithabai’s family demanded the director and Maddock Films to change the film’s name from Eetha to either Vitha or Vithabai.
