What seemed straight out of a viral video from Chennai's Rohini Theatre, Mumbai's PVR INOX Kurla also witnessed an almost housefull first-day-first-show screening of Vijay's Jana Nayagan. Fans across age groups (excluding minors) gathered in large numbers at 6 AM to witness their idol's magic for one last time on the big screen. Understandably, the excitement and emotions were running high. Fans couldn't hold back as they danced in front of the screen, celebrated by tossing their tickets in the air, whistled at every mass moment, and cheered for hard-hitting dialogues. As they bid an emotional farewell to their beloved Thalapathy, Zoom caught up with some of these young followers to capture their first-hand reactions to Jana Nayagan. Their heartfelt

Inside Jana Nayagan FDFS: Vijay Fans Get Emotional

Raja, a 23-year-old gym trainer, watched Jana Nayagan with five of his friends. He was visibly emotional as he tried to hold back his tears. When asked what made him book tickets for the early show, he said, "This is our... How can I even explain it? He's Thalapathy! We've been watching him since we were kids. From those days to now, seeing him end his film career at the peak of his stardom... this is his last movie, and we were fortunate enough to watch it on the first day, first show. We will never get to experience this again, and we'll truly miss him."Reviewing the film, he added, "It was beyond anything I can describe. The film was as good as we expected it to be. Honestly, we couldn't even sit through the end credits because it was too emotional for us. I would give the film 10/5. There was nothing I didn't like about it. The only thing I dislike is that Vijay has retired from the film industry.""Please come back again, Anna," he requested.

Another 20-something-year-old fan had travelled by train from Mira Road to join his overenthusiastic friends for the film. "All my friends are Vijay fans. This is the seventh FDFS (First Day First Show) I have attended for a Vijay film. It's always a great experience, but since this was his last movie, it made me very emotional," shared Ronald. He added, "I saw many people crying while watching the film, especially during the tribute sequences and the mashup of his old songs. I personally enjoyed it, and overall, it was a great experience."The young man, unlike many others, seemed to have accepted that Vijay has now embarked on a new journey. He wished him the very best for his political career and added, "I feel that female fans will definitely enjoy the film. He has ensured that women are respected and has made people understand that they are the backbone of society. He has done a commendable job of representing women empowerment. He was strong and confident in conveying the theme. Personally, I feel that he has always had the qualities of a leader."

A Ghatkopar resident named Prashanth was present at the theatre with a group of 35 people. His love for Vijay was evident in every step he imitated during the dance number Thalapathy Kacheri. He matched his beloved Thalapathy's moves and also encouraged fellow fans to let loose and celebrate. The happiness and excitement on his face were clearly visible.He told us, "The aura of Vijay and audiences' energy motivated me to dance. We are all Vijay fans and we are all friends."Calling the film an absolute treat for Vijay fans, he urged everyone to watch it in theatres. Talking about the tribute in the post-credit scene, he said, "It was a little emotional, but it was understandable because he is now going to take care of an entire state, so we can't really say anything. As a fan, it is emotional, but as a native of Tamil Nadu, I am very proud of him. He shouldn't quit films altogether; he should do at least one film every five years for his fans.
