Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna's Cocktail 2 registered a solid box office opening . The romantic comedy, directed by Homi Adajania, earned Rs 13.50 crore on day one. Despite its clash with Toy Story 5 and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Maa Inti Bangaram, the spiritual sequel to Cocktail showed impressive growth on day two. According to early estimates, Cocktail 2, described as a 'vibe sequel', made Rs 16.25 crore. Within just two days of its theatrical run, the rom-com also saw an upward trend in its worldwide box office collection.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Cocktail 2 earned Rs 29.75 crore after its theatrical release at the domestic box office. On day two, the film is said to have made Rs 8 crore globally, bringing the two-day collection to Rs 15.25 crore. Considering the India gross earning of Rs 35.70 crore and global collection of Rs 15.25 crore, the worldwide collection stands at Rs 50.95 crore.

Written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, Cocktail 2 opened to mixed feedback from critics and audiences. However, it hasn't become hindrance in the film's box office performance. Homi Adajania returned to direct the spiritual sequel to Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan and Diana Penty's Cocktail. Earlier, in an exclusive interview with Zoom, Kriti had dismissed rumours of part two being a direct sequel to the previous installments. "I'm sure a comparison is going to happen, but the good part is that this is not a sequel; it's a franchise. So it's more of a vibe franchise, and the characters are separate," she said. The actress also expressed that she had fun shooting for this rom-com in Sicily. All three actors were in fun mood and wanted to have a great time.

To test her partner's loyalty, Diya comes up with a fun challenge and Ally plays along. However, she doesn't realise that her decision could create a chaos in their lives, affecting their relationships.
