In a recent episode of their show The Point of View on YouTube, actresses Rubina Dilaik and Hina Khan found themselves on opposite sides of a discussion around Aamir’s third wedding. The former Bigg Boss contestants were joined by their spouses, Abhinav Shukla and Rocky Jaiswal. During a debate around whether the personal lives of celebrities, most commonly actors, affect their professional success.

Rubina agreed that if a celebrity or actor isn’t a nice person, people wouldn’t watch his or her films. The topic progressed towards
Aamir’s third marriage. Hina disagreed with Rubina and cited Khan’s example. She said the Dangal actor got married thrice, and in that case, the audience should not watch his movies. Rubina presented her point and defended her opinion by saying Aamir is a good person and stays away from controversies, which is why he enjoys a loyal fan following.
Hina further lauded Aamir for being friends with his ex-wives Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao. However, she also highlighted that society isn’t fair to those who marry multiple times. “Aam aadmi to yahi sochega na 'kya yaar phir se shadi kar raha hai?' 'isko bhi chor diya?'” Hina said. Rubina asked why Aamir was being judged for making choices related to his personal life.
Hina clarified that she wasn’t judging Aamir, but society does not accept multiple marriages and divorces. “Hamare samaj mein yeh bohot accha nahi maana jata hai
Rubina, shaadi pe shaadi pe shaadi,” she said before Rocky added, “Shaadi chhodo, divorce hi accha maana nahi jata hai.”Despite being on opposing sides, Rubina and Hina praised Aamir for being a good person and lauded his relationships with Reena and Kiran.

Aamir and Gauri registered their marriage under the Special Marriage Act (SMA), 1954, on July 5. The wedding was attended by approximately 100 people. The venue was his Bandra home. The couple’s children cheered for the union. Nita and Mukesh Ambani, Raj Thackeray, Rajkumar Hirani, Ashutosh Gowariker and his wife Sunita Gowariker, Prasoon Joshi, Rhea Chakraborty, Vir Das, Amin Hajee, Elli AvrRam, Rajkumar Santoshi and his family were among the guests at the celebration.Aamir’s children, Junaid Khan, Ira Khan and Azad Rao Khan, attended the ceremony along with Gauri’s son, Quinn.
