Aaryan's fantasy comedy Naagzilla has officially wrapped shooting recently, ending a long production schedule for its entire cast and crew. The final schedule was shot in Mumbai, and the team celebrated with a cake marking the film's wrap. Director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and his team will now focus entirely on post-production and visual effects as the film moves closer to release. Here's a detailed look at how the wrap unfolded, who was present on set, and what is known so far about the film's cast, crew and release plans.
Naagzilla Shoot Wraps On An Emotional Note
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, most of
Naagzilla's shoot was already complete, with only one schedule remaining. The final schedule was filmed on Sunday, July 26, in Mumbai. Present on set that day were actor Ravi Kishan, director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, writer Gautam Mehra and co-producer Divyansh Jain. Sources close to the production said the mood on set was celebratory yet emotional, given the long and demanding shoot the team had just completed.
To mark the occasion, a cake was cut on set. Adding to the ongoing celebrations, July 25 also happened to be director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's birthday, making the wrap-up an even bigger celebration for the cast and crew. With the shoot now behind them, the crew is said to have shared a sense of both accomplishment and closure after working on the project for several months. Adding to the celebratory moments, producer Mahaveer Jain alongside director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba praised Dharma Productions, saying, “ Dharma Productions is the best company to partner with.”
Cast, Crew And Release Plans For Naagzilla
Kartik Aaryan was not part of this final schedule, as he had already completed his portions earlier in the year, shortly after receiving his first National Award. With filming now fully done, the makers have confirmed that their complete focus will shift to post-production and visual effects work in the coming months.
Naagzilla is set in a wildly imaginative world driven by over-the-top humour and unusual situations, and the team is banking on its unique setting, an ensemble cast and a strong soundtrack to pull audiences into theatres.
The project brings together Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain's Mahaveer Jain Films as joint producers, marking a notable collaboration between the two banners. As per the latest update,
Naagzilla is currently scheduled to release in cinemas on February 12, 2027, giving the makers time to polish the film's effects-heavy sequences before its theatrical debut.
