The celebrity couple that wrote history on and off screen saw highs and lows in life but stood by each other’s side throughout. Even after Dharmendra’s demise in November 2025, Hema and her daughters, Esha and Ahana, are keeping him alive in their memories. In her recent interview with a lifestyle channel, Esha took fans into her mother’s 54-year-old bungalow in Mumbai. For the first time, the gate of Advitiya opened for the world.

How Hema Malini, Esha Deol keep Dharmendra's memories alive

During an episode of Curly Tales’ YouTube channel, Esha gave a tour of Hema’s bungalow. The veteran actress also teaches dance to 30 students in the multi-storey property where separate floors are designated for Hema, Esha and other family members. The bungalow had to be renovated after the 2005 Mumbai floods. An abode where culture, love and positivity reside, there’s a spacious studio with a wooden floor for Hema’s dance sessions.

Dharmendra’s glorious and happy picture sits there, blessing his family. Esha, as she saw her father’s portrait, got emotional and fought back her tears. In the sitting area, there are seats dedicated to Dharmendra and Hema. They’re identified by cushions with their photos printed on them.

Talking to the host, Esha said she does not see a love story like Dharmendra and Hema now. “We all grew up seeing the unconditional love between Hema ji and Dharmendra ji. There was dignity to it. There was respect in it and there was unconditional love. We all have loved Dharmendra ji so much. I don't know how I have held myself together today. I mean, I love him and he is in my heart,” she said.

Esha is the elder daughter of Dharmendra and Hema. She has a younger sister, Ahana, who is also a danseuse. Deol was previously married to Bharat Takhtani. They have two daughters, Radhya and Miraya. Esha and Bharat are co-parenting their children. The couple announced their separation in 2024.

After a long hiatus, Esha made her acting comeback and web debut with Rudra in 2022. She returned to the big screen in 2025 with Tumko Meri Kasam. The actress was last seen in Hunter Tootega Nahi Todega.
