Fans have been waiting for answers on the new season since February 2025, when Ek Badnaam... Aashram Season 3 wrapped up. A report reveals that Bobby Deol, Aaditi Pohankar and Chandan Roy Sanyal are all returning for the next chapter in the Aashram franchise. However, the question remains: will Baba Nirala's fate be wrapped up in the next instalment? The makers have not indicated if the next season will be its last.

Aashram Season 4 to go on floors from August 2026

According to a report from Variety India, Ek Badnaam... Aashram Season 4 will begin filming from mid-August 2026. Producer and director Prakash Jha, who also created the show, will be back with the main cast for the popular crime drama. Released in 2020, the web series became significant in Bobby Deol's career, as his performance of the godman Baba Nirala made audiences sit up and take notice. The role was responsible for reshaping his image for future roles in Animal and The Ba***ds of Bollywood.

What happened at the end of Aashram Season 3?

In the last season, Bobby's Baba Nirala is sent to prison, where he feels increasingly helpless as Pammi (Aaditi Pohankar)'s big revenge plan works. All this while in the drama thriller, the charismatic and self-proclaimed godman Baba Nirala has been manipulating his disciples for his personal gain. Meanwhile, the Baba's right-hand man, Bhopa Swami, played by Chandan Roy Sanyal, takes over the reins of the ashram. Truthfully, it is Pammi who is controlling Bhopa Swami for her own purposes.

The Bobby Deol starrer first released on MX Player in August 2020. The second season was renewed quite quickly and premiered in November 2020. Two years later, the third season premiered in June 2022. The second part of the third season had the longest gap, as it returned in February 2025 with five episodes. Darshan Kumaar, Anupria Goenka, Vikram Kochhar, Tridha Choudhury, Adhyayan Suman, Tushar Pandey and Rajeev Siddhartha are also part of the ensemble cast of the series.

Last seen in Bandar, directed by Anurag Kashyap, Bobby's next film Alpha co-starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, is releasing on July 3, 2026. He is reprising his cameo role from War 2, where he was first introduced as Fateh Singh Lakhawat. Bobby also has a key role in Jana Nayagan, Tamil Nadu CM Vijay's last film. The Tamil feature has been stuck in censor issues since January 2026.
