Jana Nayagan director in exclusive conversation with Times Now
Ahead of
Jana Nayagan’s release, director
H Vinoth spoke exclusively to
Times Now and admitted that the journey to the film’s release was not easy. "Yes, this has definitely been a tough journey, but the understanding that the producer and the actor of the film have... made the process easy,” he said, before adding that the producer Venkat Narayana assured Vijay that the production house would always stand by the film.“Producer Venkat Narayana sir assured Vijay sir that no matter what happens, I will stand by your side and in return, that gave some level of comfort to Vijay sir and he (Vijay sir) also told him, 'Don't worry, (if) there is anything related to the film, if there's any help you need, I will be there for you'. Given that these two had a good equation and understanding, the major heat around the film was gone,” he added. The director also said, “We had emotional problems during this delay. We have really worked hard on the movie. It faced so many problems - financial issues... the problems of those who worked on this project. We had to face all this. Despite that, they took up the major heat... so we faced problems of limited capacity. If the film does really well, we will consider it as compensation for the problems we have endured.”
