month of August kicks off with the premiere of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty in South Africa on JioHotstar. Avika Gor, Farhanna Bhatt, Gaurav Khanna, Jasmin Bhasin, Rubina Dilaik, Karan Wahi and Orry are just some of the contestants taking part in the special celebrity reality series. Meanwhile, the FIFA World Cup 2026 may have ended, but Ted Lasso and his gang are returning to keep the football fever going on Apple TV. That's not all; several returning shows from Reacher to My Life with the Walter Boys will be back. My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 on August 6

Where to watch: NetflixThe love triangle between brothers Cole (Noah LaLonde), Alex (Ashby Gentry) and Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez) continues in the new season of the Netflix series. The coming-of-age story picks up after Alex and Jackie say 'I love you' and the boys' father George (Marc Blucas) is rushed to the hospital in a medical emergency. The Last House on August 7

Operation Safed Sagar: The Untold Story of the Kargil War on August 7

Where to watch: NetflixDirected by Oni Sen, the Netflix series focuses on a risky, high-altitude mission orchestrated by the Golden Arrows Squadron, the youngest squadron in the Indian Air Force. Set during the Kargil War, Jimmy Shergill and Siddharth lead a cast of characters that includes Abhay Verma, Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli, Adil Hussain, Mihir Ahuja, Taaruk Raina, Arnav Bhasin, and Amrita Bagchi that follows Operation Safed Sagar, which is based on real events during the Kargil War.

Where to watch: NetflixBased on Alex North’s best-selling novel, the crime thriller The Whisper Man has an exciting cast of Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan and Adam Scott. Directed by James Ashcroft, the feature film opens up a case of a serial killer after children begin disappearing again. However, with the original murderer behind bars, the retired detective (DeNiro) who caught the Whisper Man must re-examine his investigation. Scott plays a widowed crime writer whose son is abducted and looks to his father for help.
