The actor had confirmed that the wedding will be a simple registered marriage held quietly at his Mumbai home. Now, a latest report suggests that there will be no reception, no red carpet, and no big guest list from the film industry. This will be Aamir's third marriage, after his previous unions with Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao, both of which ended in divorce over the years.

According to an India Today report, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt have chosen to skip a reception altogether. The wedding will be a private, registered ceremony at the actor's Mumbai residence, attended only by close family and a handful of friends, keeping the whole affair low-key and away from media glare. Whether close friends like Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan will attend the ceremony is still not officially confirmed.
Gauri, who is from Bengaluru and works in the wellness and beauty sector, has largely stayed away from the media spotlight throughout the relationship.
What Aamir Khan Said About The Marriage?
Earlier, while confirming the wedding, Aamir Khan had said, "The news about the marriage is true. It's on July 5." He also added that he feels completely at peace with Gauri and that they are in a committed space together.In an older interview, Aamir had gone a step further, saying, "In my heart, I'm already married to her. So whether we formalise it or not is something I will decide as we go along."

Aamir Khan was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par, a sports drama that released in 2025 and did well with audiences and critics alike. He also had a cameo and producer credit in Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos earlier this year.His much-awaited biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, has reportedly hit a pause due to script revisions and creative differences, delaying what was expected to be his next big acting project. Instead, he is collaborating with Hirani for the sequel to their all-time blockbuster 3 Idiots.Besides, he has reportedly united with Lagaan director Aashutosh Gowarikar for a new sports drama, however, nothing is official as of now. There have also been talks about the superstar teaming up with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
