Bollywood celebrities Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha and others celebrated the students' victory following Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, actress Raveena Tandon also shared her views on social media. She said she was happy and proud that the voices of students were finally being heard and added that the protests had given her hope. However, she alleged that in some states, the student movement was hijacked by hooligans, political parties and people who were only there to make reels or gain attention.

Till now, environmental/ community animals/wildlife/deforestation protests were reaching dead ends and losing battles. People are awakening and the future generations have to realise that this is the only planet we have. There is no Planet B. This is it. Raveena Tandon Disables Comments Section On Student Protest Post

Raveena's post received mixed reactions online. After a few minutes, she disabled the comments section of her post. She also reposted a report claiming that 11 people were arrested over the Kolkata student protest violence, but none of them were allegedly students.Earlier on Saturday, Raveena reacted to Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation by writing, "The power of youth and revolution."
