latest episode of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa on Netflix witnessed an emotional reunion as TV actor and Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna entered the show to meet contestant and his wife Akanksha Chamola. The couple has been making headlines ever since Akanksha revealed during the show's premiere that they had been living separately for the past year and are headed for divorce. Gaurav, who recently won Bigg Boss 19, revealed on Lock Upp that while separation has been discussed, their divorce has not been legally finalised.

Making an appearance on the show as a guest, Gaurav Khanna first greeted the contestants before addressing Akanksha directly. He told her that her Lock Upp stint has shaken his world. Referring to the divorce reports, he said, "We just discussed it. No petition was signed, nothing is official." Akanksha responded by reminding him that their conversation was interrupted because he had left to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi. In response, Gaurav admitted that the timing of her revelation had caught him off guard.

Later in the episode, host Farah Khan invited Gaurav and Akanksha into the jailer's cabin, where the two had a private conversation about the controversy surrounding their relationship. During the discussion, Gaurav clarified that despite widespread speculation, the couple has not legally divorced. He explained that they had only discussed separation before he left for Khatron Ke Khiladi in May, but no legal paperwork or divorce petition has been filed.He expressed disappointment over how quickly rumours had spread, saying many people had assumed they had already been divorced for over a year. According to Gaurav, some even accused Akanksha of revealing the news for attention on the reality show, while others claimed he was using the situation to gain public sympathy."We discussed it in May before I left for the show; everyone thinks that we've already been divorced for a year. They are saying, Akanksha was giving an audition in that show, and I was doing it for sympathy," he said.

The actor then revealed how trolls think Gaurav was taking Akansha with him everywhere in the recent months to 'make her famous.' He also spoke about the online criticism directed at both of them, saying he was surprised by the narratives people had created around their personal lives. He added that while people are free to speculate, he finds it difficult to accept comments targeting Akanksha.

"But I can't take them saying anything against you because legally you are still my wife, and I am still your husband, and I don't like it when people talk bad about anybody I have been with, or I am with," Gaurav said.Akanksha replied by saying that if people cannot accept that two mature people have decided to end their relationship happily, its their problem. Gaurav made it clear that their separation is not an easy thing for him to deal with and both say they do not have anybody to speak to.

During the conversation, Akanksha teared up when Gaurav told her that he will stand with her no matter what. She revealed how difficult it is for her to make a fresh start and Gaurav is already successful so he does not understand her situation. She got more emotional when the topic of her bisexuality was brought up by Gaurav and how her secret was revealed on the show. Akanksha said that Gaurav already knew about her sexuality and has always been very supportive and open-minded.On thing is for sure, Gaurav's appearance on the show has now clarified that although they have discussed ending their marriage, the legal process has not yet begun.
