first teaser of Alpha launched with the story revolving around Alia Bhatt. The internet wondered, ‘where is Sharvari’, considering she is also leading the film. While it was clear that the teaser titled First Kill was about Alia’s assassin and her origin story. Bobby Deol featured in it with Bhatt, giving a glimpse of the character’s journey from celebrating her 18th birthday to becoming a killing machine. Amid mixed reactions and criticism for not including Sharvari, Alia had a perfect answer for trolls. Ahead of Alpha’s trailer, Bhatt shared pictures with her co-star and answered the question that kept naysayers busy.

Sharvari were dressed in identical white Alpha t-shirts. While the former paired it with a skirt, the latter wore basic, classic jeans. Alia’s caption read, “Where is Sharvari?” Replying to the post, Sharvari wrote, “Preeessseeeenttt miss!!!”
Alpha trailer to release soon
Rumours were rife that YRF was planning a special teaser featuring Sharvari on her birthday. However, as per the latest buzz, the trailer will be arriving sooner than expected. Besides the trailer, the Central Board of Film Certification has certified two songs from
Alpha, titled
Haniya Ve and
Champaigne.
Sharvari on Alpha
Sharvari, who is currently enjoying the rave reviews for
Main Vaapas Aaunga, spoke about working with Alia in a previous interview with Harpers Bazaar. She shared how it has left a lasting impression on the young her, both professionally and personally. Sharvari said, "Just to share screen space with a superstar like
Alia Bhatt has taught me so much that I’m actually itching to go on different sets and be able to use the kind of skills that I have seen or learned from her. It was a dream come true for me as I got to understand her process and know her as a person." Sharvari also called
Alpha a first-of-its-kind in Indian cinema, and an action entertainer led by women."It’s an exciting time to be a part of this industry, especially because we are getting an opportunity to play such characters,” the actress shared.
Alpha is directed by Shiv Rawail. It is the next chapter in the
YRF Spy Universe after
Ek Tha Tiger,
Tiger Zinda Hai,
War,
Pathaan,
Tiger 3 and
War 2. The film releases in theatres on July 3 and also stars Anil Kapoor and
Bobby Deol.
