star Dheeraj Dhoopar is one of the 15 contestants of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa. The actor, known for doing shows like Kundali Bhagya and Sasural Simar Ka, is doing a reality show for the first time. On the day of Lock Upp's premiere, Zoom exclusively interviewed his wife and actress Vinny Arora. During this conversation with us, the actress was asked if Dheeraj can break people's perception about grounded people not being the right fit for reality shows, the way Gaurav Khanna did by winning Bigg Boss 19. To this, the actress stated that her husband is not like the BB 19 winner. She stated that her husband is not calm and composed like Gaurav was in the Salman Khan-hosted show.

Speaking exclusively to us, Vinny mentioned why 'Dheeraj is nothing like Gaurav'. While the actress isn't fully aware of the actor's Bigg Boss 19 journey, she saw many clips on Instagram where he appeared to be calm."I'm not saying Dheeraj is calm. I'm not saying he's going to be mature all the time. I'm saying he stands up for what he feels is right. And most times that is what is right also. As a wife, I have seen him; his intuitions are so strong. He will guard his decision with all his heart and with all he's got," Vinny told Zoom.

The actress further mentioned, "He is not calm and composed. He is a fun and amazing person. He has amazing energy to be around. He will be like the spark of the room. But at the same time, he can turn into fire any minute. My advice to all other contestants is to handle (him) with care. I don't know about Gaurav's journey, which is why I can't speak much. But the little clips that I have seen on Instagram, I think he came across as a calm person. Dheeraj is fire, but how you handle that fire, it can also be explosive. I mean, he'd rather be explosive, right? It's a reality show after all."

The confirmed list of 15 contestants includes Ram Kapoor, Shivangi Joshi, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Harshad Chopda, Akanksha Chamola, Varun Yadav, Sufi Motiwala, Riyaz Aly, Shresta Iyer, Akanksha Choudhary, Yogesh Rawat, Shreya Kalra, Pamala Serena, Sunita Ahuja, and Madhuri Grover.It will stream from Saturday to Wednesday at 8pm on Netflix.
