Chanchlani has come out in support of Samay Raina after he started receiving criticism over his new show, India’s Got Latent, season 2, on Netflix. The YouTuber slammed the netizens who called IGL 2 ‘too filtered’. The Ekaki star took to his Instagram story and shared a note stating that Samay Raina has fought countless battles to launch the new season of his epic YouTube show. For the unversed, IGL 2’s first episode was graced by Alpha stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. Ashish Solanki and Balraj Ghai were also the panel members.

Ashish Chanchlani, who had also landed in trouble for being a part of an episode where Ranveer Allahbadia passed a lewd comment on parents’ intimacy on India’s Got Latent season 1, has penned a hard-hitting note against critics who trolled IGL 2. Ashish reminded them that he, Samay, Ranveer and Apoorva had endured a year-long legal battle after the backlash. The actor also revealed that they had pledged to ‘stay in line’ while making jokes and ensure that history didn’t repeat itself. In the note, Chanchlani stated, “It was almost a certainty that this show would come back. But somehow Samay Raina made sure he brings it back for y'all. He has fought countless battles behind the scenes.”

Apart from that, Ashish Chanchlani also mentioned it was almost impossible for the team to bring India’s Got Latent Season 2. He asked people to understand Samay Raina and support him.
