who is functioning on a tight schedule, was supposed to give Ramayana’s Pratham Sankalp event in Delhi a miss. However, to everyone’s surprise, the actor made a grand entry and received the loudest cheer from his fans present at Bharat Mandapam. The lights went off as Ramayana’s Ravana walked the aisle towards the stage to interact with the guests. Before Yash could begin addressing the people present at the event, his fans gave a loud shoutout to his upcoming movie, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups.

Daddy’s Home’ just before he surprised all with a speech in Hindi. The actor said, “I'm really happy to be part of this wonderful, wonderful project. All credit should go to Namit Malhotra.

About Toxic
Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is Yash’s upcoming film. Nayanthara,
Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria join him in the gangster drama along with Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair.
Toxic was scheduled to release in theatres on March 19. However, due to the Middle East war, the makers decided to postpone it to June 4. The date was changed again. Finally, the gangster drama will release on August 26, 2026.
Toxic has been filmed simultaneously in English and Kannada, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and several other languages.
Yash on Toxic
In a previous interview with Fandango, Yash said the concept of
Toxic is ‘very layered.’ He added, “Once again, it's not a typical gangster action story. For the face value, it will look like a gangster movie with a lot of action, but it has got deep psychology and it's got very interesting aspects of human life where you can resonate with.” The actor believed his character has been presented in a unique way, that makes it even more exciting. Yash shared that director Geetu Mohandas has given a new take on a gangster film, and he enjoyed working on it.
Toxic is going to be a visual treat as well as something which makes a huge impact on audience psychology as well, confirmed Yash.
Yash's Bollywood debut
Ramayana will be Yash’s debut in Bollywood. He will not be sharing the screen with Ranbir Kapoor in the first part of the franchise. The Lanka chapter is expected to form the core of the second installment, releasing in 2027.
