new member joins Aamir Khan’s family on July 5. The Bollywood superstar is marrying Gauri Spratt in an intimate ceremony at his residence in Mumbai. They will be registering their union under the Special Marriage Act (SMA), 1954. With this, Aamir’s family expands and opens its arms to welcome Gauri. Khan hails from an affluent film family, whereas his to-be-wife doesn’t belong to the fraternity. Aamir Khan was born to filmmaker Tahir Hussain and his wife Zeenat. Hussain produced films such as Caravan (1971), Anamika (1973), and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke (1993). He is the nephew of veteran filmmaker Nasir Hussain, who, after the death of his father, became the eldest man in the family. Nasir made his writing debut with Anarkali for Filmistan Studios. He later went on to start his own production house named Nasir Hussain Films and backed cult films like Teesri Manzil and Yaadon Ki Baraat.
